In 1998 Buzz completed Mastery University, a three-stage program offered by the world’s leading peak performance coach, Anthony Robbins, learning exceptional skills and strategies to create the life of your dreams. This was followed by completion of Leadership Academy in 1999.
Buzz completed a Ph.D. in Psychoneurology and Integrative Medicine at Beurin University in the USA after 5 year’s study. The program was a combination of cutting edge life skills and ancient traditions; all designed to make the Doctoral students exceptional therapists.
In her early 30’s Buzz completed what is now a Human Resources Degree at Swinburne University with High Distinctions and Honours in Psychology and several other subjects.
Buzz spent her primary and secondary education at Melbourne Girls’ Grammar School in South Yarra. Whilst readily admitting she was bored and restless, she completed her final year, then called Matriculation.
She then spent some years at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology writing for the campus newspaper, creating a political club, doing the runway in the Miss RMIT Contest and attending an occasional lecture and tutorial. Commerce, Accounting, Law, English, Philosophy, and the odd typing lesson competed with the local pub and summer visits to the beach. She excelled in Public Speaking and Debating in the Inter-Varsity Debating Competition held at the University of Sydney. She has also studied at the University of Melbourne with Honours in Italian.
Professional Experience
Buzz has spent the past 20 years working with people around the world to empower them to make more compelling choices for their lives.
Previous and current work experiences that add to her skill level include the following:
- Elite trainer for the world’s leading peak performance coach Anthony Robbins. Buzz has studied and worked in the Anthony Robbins environment since 1996. In the role of Elite Trainer Buzz has worked at dozens of Anthony Robbins seminars around the world – London, Singapore, Palm Springs, Miami, Scotland, Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Bahamas, Tampa Florida, Scottsdale Arizona, Fiji – supporting a team of up to 80 participants at each event through life changing cutting-edge information and processes.
- Five years in Industrial Relations in the Shipping Industry in Australia and the United Kingdom.
- Several years with the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, some working in the Human Resources area engaged in recruitment, training and supervision of staff.
- Private Secretary to a senior Australian Federal politician; a man who held several portfolios including Treasurer, Minister for the Army, Minister of Immigration and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party.
- Establishing and managing her own highly successful convention and event management company creating some of the best international and national conferences in Australia and New Zealand and some of Melbourne’s most outstanding functions and parties for more than a twelve years.
- CEO of the world’s largest adventure travel company with ten offices in six countries. In this role Buzz worked with an outstanding team to create and manage extraordinary adventures in the Himalayas, Africa, South America, China, Australia and many other wonderful places.
What else has Buzz done?
Buzz is the Victorian Ambassador to the Australian Businesswomen’s Association, having been the Victorian Co-Ordinator and Board Member for 2006 and 2007.
Buzz is listed in many editions of the Who’s Who of Australian Businesswomen and other international directories.
Buzz’s story entitled “A 2 millimetre difference” appears in the first chapter of the 2007 book “I Made a Promise”, 50 Inspirational Australian Stories, edited by Danny Smith.
Her ‘100 Pairs of Shoes’ appears in the May 2015 Chicken Soup for the Soul: Time to Thrive book.
